I started my artistic career with an evening class in botanic art. This led me to the beginnings of my degree in design with the Foundation Course in Art and Design at Swindon College in 2000-2001. Having a keen interest in the impact of design on the environment, I was disappointed that few bricks and mortar universities offered the opportunity to study both design and environmental studies at that time. The Open University, however, with its open degree programme, allowed me to study elements of both, resulting in a bespoke BSc degree that I describe as Design for a Sustainable Future.

I am particularly interested in drawing for colouring in and abstract patterns.
